Just Do What Needs To Be Done
It's that Simple

Many times, you may take on a project that seems insurmountable. There may be numerous moving parts and tasks that need to be done in succession in order for the overall goal to be reached. Most people, unfortunately, when faced with all of these challenges, tend to fold under the psychological pressure of the situation. They look at the mountain of work in front of them and instead of seeing the opportunity, they see the sacrifice. For those of you that have trained yourself to only see opportunity, this post is for you.
There are many ways to get your goals accomplished. The most popular way, and the way I prefer, is the strategy of breaking down your big goal into numerous small tasks. Every project, no matter how big or how small is comprised of tasks. Your first step is to identify these tasks.Once you have these identified, you must then put them in order and put a time table toward them. For example, if you’re starting an online store, you need to have a registered business and an EIN number. So you would put your tasks in order : 1) register business 2) obtain EIN number 3) being building out online store… etc. Even in those 3 steps, there are also smaller steps -the tasks you must complete in order to register your business. Get as detailed as possible in what you need to do to get all of your goals done. Once this is complete you may have a list of 10 things, 100 things or 1000 things. The next step is important. Get started!
Get started with that first thing on your list, and keep getting tasks done one by one. If you had a list of 1000 things it's natural that you may feel a little over whelmed, but more often than not, you’re going to speed through tasks faster than you thought. If you’re on a timeline, it may be good to set a goal of getting 'X' amount of tasks done every day. This may be especially helpful if a lot of tasks don’t need to be done in any specific order. For example if you’re launching a website, you may need to shoot photos, edit videos, write copy, setup google analytics etc. None of those things may need to be done in a specific order as long as they're all done before the website is launched, so do whatever you feel like doing that day. Some days you may feel like taking photos but not editing video, then do the photos. But as long as you do something EVERY DAY, you will complete your goal.
Its easy… just do what needs to be done.
